The cost of a browser bio

Most bio taps never reach the app.

A typical link-in-bio page opens inside Instagram or TikTok’s built-in browser, and every button keeps the visitor there. They are logged out of YouTube, Spotify, and Amazon, so they can’t subscribe, save, or buy without signing in again. Many leave instead.

What does the bio page include?
A page at smartlink.sh/@yourname with your photo, name, a short bio, and up to 50 buttons, in one of five themes. It is part of Pro, with no separate fee.
Is this a Linktree alternative?
Yes. Like Linktree, it is one page with many buttons. The difference is that every button is a Smart Link: on phones it opens YouTube, Spotify, Amazon, or TikTok in the app instead of the in-app browser, and each button has its own click analytics.
Can I change my links without editing Instagram again?
Yes. Your bio URL stays smartlink.sh/@you. Add, reorder, rename, or hide buttons in the dashboard and the page updates right away.
Can I use a single Smart Link instead of a page?
Yes. If your bio should point at one thing, like this week’s video, put that Smart Link in the website field directly. Phones open it in the app with no page in between.
Will people without the app still see the content?
Yes. If the app is missing, Smart Link falls back to the mobile or desktop website so the tap is not a dead end.
