How short is a Smart Link in an SMS?
The default host is smartlink.sh plus a short code, which is a few dozen characters. On Pro you can pick a readable slug so the message still looks human.
Does WhatsApp unfurl Smart Links?
WhatsApp will preview whatever Open Graph tags the destination (or our redirect) exposes. The important part is the tap: phones still prefer the native app for supported platforms.
Can I use this with Twilio or Attentive?
Yes. Smart Link is just a URL. Paste it into any template. We do not need a messaging integration.
Will carriers flag the domain?
Any shortener can be filtered if a blast looks like spam. Use Smart Link on consented lists, keep the message clear, and prefer a custom code that matches the campaign. We cannot override carrier filters.
Do SMS links get analytics?
Yes. Every tap records time, city, device, OS, and referrer. That complements delivery reports from your SMS provider.
